Trainee Dental Nurse
Job description
What does a dental nurse do? Assists dentist chairside. Maintains impeccable standards of hygiene and cross infection control according to the latest guidelines and following practice procedures and policy. Clean and sterilise instruments. Care for patients during and after treatment. Monitor stock levels for materials and sundries. Accurately record, label and send dental lab work. Maintain and comply with GDC (General Dental Council) registration..
Responsibilities
- Preparing fillings and other materials.
- Providing support and reassurance to the patient.
- Sterilising instruments.
- Processing and filing x-rays.
- Decontamination.
- Maintaining and filing patient records.
- Advising patients on oral hygiene.
- Carrying out stock control.

Further Information
The Employer is: PATRICK J M MENARY BDS LTD Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour.
