Job description

The position of Services Co-ordinator in the Assumption Convent, Ballynahinch, is a collaborative role, working with the Community Leader, to whom the post holder will be accountable. It will involve a combination of people management and administration. The post holder will be responsible for many aspects of the day-to-day operations, including managing staff, administration of community finances and budgets, and premises, ensuring that the quality of the services provided, including care and maintenance, meets high standards. Title of Post: Services Co-ordinator. Location: Assumption Convent, Ballynahinch. Reports to: Community Leader. Hours: 35 hours per week (excluding one hour unpaid break for lunch). .

Responsibilities

• To fulfil a supportive and collaborative role with the Community Leader.
• To undertake management responsibility for all staff employed within the Convent.
• Co-ordinating Care Services within the Community.
• Assist with administration of Communities.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience in a supervisory/manager role
• Experience in an administration role
• Experience using Microsoft Office packages.
• Minimum 5 GCSEs inc Maths and English or equivalent

Desirable Skills

• Experience of working in health and social care area
• Experience of using SAGE or similar software
• Experience of using IBB (internet banking)
• Qualification in nursing, social work or health and social care related area
