Assistant Contracting Services Officer, Band 4
Job description
The post holder will work as part of the Contracting Services Team in developing, maintaining and monitoring the Trust’s extensive portfolio of Contracts within a quality assurance framework. This will contracts with the Health and Social Services Board, other Trusts, the Republic of Ireland as well as Contracts with the private and voluntary & community sectors. The post holder will report directly to the Contracting Services Officer and will be required to work closely with all members of the Contracting Services Team and maintain good communication links with key stakeholders, Service Providers, Trust Service Managers, Finance and Information staff. He/she will be expected to work on his/her own initiative and be responsible for assisting the Contracting Services Officer in his/her role. Responsibilities
- Support the Contracting Services Officer in the production of contracts for residential/nursing homes, domiciliary care, daycare and other general health and social care services
- Provide full secretarial and administrative support to Senior Officers within the department
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- NVQ Level 3 And 1 year's experience working in an administration and clerical environment
- Or 4 years experience working in an administration and clerical environment
Desirable Skills
- Experience of working within a contracting environment
