Job description

The post holder will provide a range of information and data analytics to the Family Practitioner Services (FPS) Senior Management Team. The post holder will play a key role in providing a range essential business services to HSC organisations and Primary care contractors. The post holder will support the use of complex reporting solutions through the provision of information services. The post holder will support payment assurance through the development of increased validation and quality assurance of the payment and processes. Responsibilities

  • To maintain, manage, develop and interrogate the FPS information data warehouses using MS SQL server, MS Access and MS Excel
  • To liaise with, advise and support the use of FPS data warehouses by other Business Services Organisation, HSC Board, DHSSPS, Public Health Agency and other HSC staff

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • A degree in Computing, Information Technology or significant information management or data analysis component with one year's quantifiable experience within a discipline relevant to data analysis
  • Or 4 years quantifiable experience within a discipline relevant to database design, data analysis which includes an in-depth working knowledge of information production, report writing

Desirable Skills

  • Business intelligence experience Experience of developing applications in BI software
