Health Care Assistant
Job description
We urgently require Health Care Assistants to work for us in Northern Hospital Trusts .
Responsibilities
- Help patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing and eating.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Collect specimens for testing and perform basic laboratory procedures.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing care to patients.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Must have 6 months paid care experience.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- To have, or be willing to attend all mandatory training courses for the role.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access NI check.
- To work as part of a team.
