The Employer is: THE CANDY STORE. To assist and support the existing sales team. Keep shop floor in rotation, stocking and displaying items well. .

Responsibilities

• To assist and support the existing sales team.
• Communicate with customers in a positive manner.
• Pack online orders and assist with postal.
• Keep shop floor in rotation, stocking and displaying items well.
• Using the till system.
• Keeping storage areas tidy.
• General cleaning duties.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Applicants must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be flexible to work Saturdays on a rota basis.
• Use of initiative that allows being left in the shop solo at times.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Flexible.

Desirable Skills

• Retail experience is desirable but all training will be given in store.

The Employer is: THE CANDY STORE. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. The Candy Store is a family business which has been established for over 16 years. We pride ourselves on our relationship with the local community and hope to find someone who has the same values whilst providing a retail service. Our shop is based on selling confectionery and we are now also growing an online shop.
