Due to our continual growth, we are looking to appoint Drivers Helpers to join our busy Logistics Team. This role will be based out of the Duncrue depot..

Responsibilities

• To provide assistance to the Driver at all times
• Obtain all necessary documentation for the daily runs to ensure efficient operation of the business activities
• Check customer routing for the daily runs, prioritising workloads to ensure all customer commitments are achieved
• Provide excellent customer service that supports the RiverRidge brand
• Due to the physical nature of the role, you will be required to collect and move commercial containers
• Ensure all electronic paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence (Max 6 penalty points)
• Good Geographical knowledge of NI
• Good Communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Experience in dealing with customers and members of the public
• Ability to work well with others / Team Player
• Must be able to apply Manual Handling techniques
• Flexible approach to working hours to include weekends and Bank Holidays

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working in a similar role
• Previous experience working within the Transport Sector

Competitive Hourly Rate. Generous Retention scheme -opportunity to earn £1000 per year pro rata payment based on start date. Overtime rate of Time and a Half £16.35 for hours worked over 45 hours Mon to Fri. Saturday and Bank Holiday rate of Time and a Half. 28 days Annual leave incl of 8 Customary and Bank Holidays.
