Responsibilities

• Manage Energy and Utilities Programme.
• Oversee and implement energy projects in alignment with the clients sustainability goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulations related to energy efficiency and climate change issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to achieve program objectives.
• Provide Expert Advice.
• Offer expert advice on energy-related matters to the clients members, Officers, and stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in energy technology and sustainable practices.
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and alternative energy solutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Degree level education in a relevant field (e.g., Energy Management, Environmental Science, Sustainability).
• Proven experience working in the energy field, with a focus on project management and sustainability.
• Strong knowledge of energy regulations, climate change issues, and alternative energy sources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities in the context of energy management.

Further Information

About the role: 37 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Initially 2 months (possibility of extension) Immediate start available. £19.81 per hour.
