Membership and Admin Coordinator


Job description

The employer is: ASSOCIATION BUSINESS MENTORS. The candidate should either have a graduate or someone with experience in administration that will focus on growing new ABM membership across Ireland, supporting existing members and undertaking a comprehensive Admin role for the ABM Belfast Office. This employee will work directly with the ABM Chair (Ireland) and report to the ABM UK in our London office. The person will be expected to undertake admin, sales and marketing and membership coordination duties to Support the establishment of ABM in Ireland. This will be a hybrid role that will enable working from home as well as our office in Central Belfast..

Responsibilities

  • Working with our staff and membership across the UK.
  • Engaging with SME owner/managers and local business mentors to support the work of ABM across Ireland.
  • Coordinating membership events, venue hire, catering and guest speaker requirements.
  • Managing databases.
  • Preparing materials for meetings and events.
  • Supporting the Chair to prepare funding applications and associated monitoring and evaluation requirements.
  • Undertaking the admin requirements associated with the establishment and effective implementation of the ABM across Ireland.
  • Maintaining accurate records.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft office programmes.
  • Ability to communicate accurately and in a timely manner both in written and oral communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a results based environment.
  • Display a professional approach to work at all times.

Desirable Skills

  • Excellent with Written and verbal communication.
  • Previous Business Sector Insight.
  • Ability to work with Data Management.
  • Excellent Time Management.
  • A Degree.

Further Information

The employer is: ASSOCIATION BUSINESS MENTORS. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour. Work Time: Various shifts to be confirmed with employer.
