Office Manager Mental Capacity Act
Job description
The Mental Capacity Act (MCA) Office Manager will primarily support the MCA Operational Team (and/or other senior MCA Staff, as required), contributing to the operational delivery of the Trust’s Mental Capacity Act systems administration and will be responsible for monitoring compliance with MCA NI 2016 legislation. The post holder is an integral member of MCA Systems Team and holds responsibility for the management of the administrative systems required to ensure efficient and effective implementation of Deprivation or Liberty processes and all associated tasks required of the MCA Systems Team within agreed timescales. .
Responsibilities
- Develop an excellent understanding of MCA operations and systems, maintain up to date knowledge of the related Governance policies, procedures, Codes of Conduct, operational guidance, and accountability.
- Responsible for the development, maintenance, and improvement of appropriate manual and electronic administrative systems and databases to effectively and efficiently manage, and quality assure information.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A University Degree or equivalent or Professional Qualification AND 1 years relevant administrative experience at Band 4 level or above or equivalent.
- OR HNC HND or equivalent AND 2 years relevant administrative experience at Band 4 level or above or equivalent OR GCSE English Language at Grade C or above AND 4 years relevant administrative experience at Band 4 level or above or equivalent.
Desirable Skills
- A minimum of one years supervision of staff experience.
