Murphy & Bailey, Belfast’s first dog friendly coffee and pet shop is seeking part-time staff for our location on the Belmont Road. We serve coffee and snacks in a dog friendly environment with a small outdoor seating area, and sell upscale pet products and pet-themed giftware. Whilst this role is predominantly to support our social media strategies, you will be expected to fully engage with our customers in-store (both human and animal) so that you may fully understand the ethos of Murphy & Bailey. It will be important that you understand our full product range and services provided so that you may tailor campaigns appropriately to increase engagement and ultimately drive increased sales and revenue..

Responsibilities

• Creating video content for social media channels including TikTok, Instagram and paid ads.
• Creating high quality picture content for same.
• Video and photo editing.
• Taking product pictures for the website.
• Creation of 'stories' for and at events.
• Willing to be filmed yourself and filming others.
• Organising dog/human photoshoots if required and props needed to ensure best results for new product launches.
• Liaising with the rest of the M & B team whenever working for ideas and feedback.
• It is also expected that you show willingness and flexibility to participate and provide support to the rest of the team in other areas as and when required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven success of content creation, and the ability to multitask and thrive in an open environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and organised, you should be able to prioritise and be adept at working independently as well as in a team.
• Flexible schedule, collaborative spirit and willingness to pitch in on a wide variety of tasks with a no job too big or small attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Use of Klaviyo (or similar mail campaign).
• Use of Canva/Adobe Illustrator (or similar).
• Clean driving license and access to a car.
• Experience of working with animals.

Further Information

The Employer is: MURPHY & BAILEY LIMITED Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour.
