Floor Crew


Job description

Our floor crew team work together to ensure the safe, effective and fun running of Funtastic so that customers and children enjoy their visit. You will work across reception, café, kitchen and floor with a range of duties as instructed by managers and supervisors. .

Responsibilities

  • Supervise children's safe play on the equipment.
  • Front Reception Duties: Take payment, book customers in, convey rules, answer queries.
  • Answer telephone in polite and courteous manner.
  • Ensure children do not leave the premises without their parent/guardian.
  • Monitoring of security gate.
  • Serve customers in café: Take food and drink orders and payment.
  • Make hot drinks using a barista coffee machine and hot water urn.
  • Serve drinks, snacks, sweets, cakes, etc from the counter.
  • Serve food orders from the Kitchen to customers.
  • Maintain a clean environment: Monitor and clean toilets throughout the day.
  • Vacuum and clean the carpets; mop the non-slip surfaces.
  • Dust and clean the play equipment and areas behind the equipment.
  • Clean the café throughout and at the end of the day.
  • Act as Party Host: Check children in to party.
  • Take food order & ensure numbers correlate to booking, amending if necessary.
  • Liaise with kitchen on food orders.
  • Bring refreshments, cake knife, lighters, party bags as requested by party parent.
  • Check stock levels: Party supplies, cleaning and general supplies, café and kitchen.
  • Accept and sign for all deliveries, checking quality and quantity against order forms.

Further Information

The Employer is: FUNTASTIC PLAY LTD. Salary: Under 18 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 & over £11.44 per hour. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
