Charity Co-Ordinator
Job description
The Employer is: CROSSROADS CARE NI. To provide on-boarding support to volunteers. It will be the job holders responsibility to contact potential volunteers to tell them more about the role and ascertain their availability to help. The post will also involve administration for the project, rota co-ordination and ongoing support for volunteers. .
Responsibilities
- File all paperwork in a timely manner.
- Monitor and respond to e-mails from potential volunteers.
- Inform volunteers about the organisation and their duties.
- Request references for potential volunteers.
- General administration tasks related to the project.
- Manage volunteer placement and their rotas.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of all Microsoft packages.
- Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Passion to provide an excellent customer experience for all volunteers.
- Full valid driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
Desirable Skills
- Basic understanding of volunteering.
- General knowledge of the care sector.
Further Information
The Employer is: CROSSROADS CARE NI. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
