Job description

To assist the IT Lead/Senior Developers and the IT Systems Development Manager in the design, development and delivery of high-quality technology solutions that address business needs, and to work in collaboration with business and supplier teams as required in defined areas. To complete the IT Developer trainee programme: To gain specific work-based experience aimed at fulfilling the competencies of an IT Lead Developer, To follow a programme of continuous assessment, To complete a final assessment and progress to IT Lead Developer (Level 6). Training programme to be completed over 18-month period. .

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of a defined set of applications as directed by the IT System Development Manager to help gain the relevant skills and experience.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Possess a minimum of an NVQ Level 4, BTEC Professional diploma, HNC, Certificate of Higher Education, Higher apprenticeship or equivalent in Software Development.
