Job description

The Strategic Planning and Performance Group SPPG arranges or commissions health and social care services for the population of Northern Ireland. Accountable to the Health Minister, the SPPG plans and designs a range of health and social care services that deliver high quality and safe outcomes for patients and service users, are good value for the taxpayer, and comply with statutory duties. .

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within the SPPG Pharmacy and Medicines Management Team PMMT to assess need, establish priority and monitor standards of practice in relation to prescribing.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• MPharm or BSC in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 3 years post-registration experience relevant to pharmacy and medicines management.

Desirable Skills

• Post-registration experience relevant to pharmacy and medicines management working in two or more distinct working settings for example: community pharmacy, hospital, GP practice, academia, industry, prescribing support.
