Given early responsibility in dealing directly with customers and suppliers. Sell to global leaders within the agricultural, commercial, construction. Developing and implementing strategic sales plans..

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans
• Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing sales teams and by developing the teams sales skills
• Building and promoting long-lasting customer relations
• Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to optimise sales
• Providing daily/weekly reports of sales results and communicating customer feedback at team meetings

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in a similar sales lead/manager role
• Knowledge of the agricultural market/products
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including negotiation and influencing skills
• Ability to identify new product and market opportunities
• Proven experience in sales and providing excellent customer service
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office packages
• Current full driving licence

Further Information

Evenings and weekends off. 4 days out on the road and 1 day office based. Work van, phone and laptop provided.
