Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing sales teams and by developing the teams sales skills
- Building and promoting long-lasting customer relations
- Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to optimise sales
- Providing daily/weekly reports of sales results and communicating customer feedback at team meetings
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in a similar sales lead/manager role
- Knowledge of the agricultural market/products
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to identify new product and market opportunities
- Proven experience in sales and providing excellent customer service
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office packages
- Current full driving licence
Further Information
Evenings and weekends off. 4 days out on the road and 1 day office based. Work van, phone and laptop provided.
