Due to company expansion, KES Group have an exciting opportunity for a full time Health & Safety Officer based at our premises in Strabane. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 - 4 years' experience and be NEBOSH qualified. Prepare and manage Health & Safety arrangements for our Phase 2 Construction site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement the organisation's Health & Safety procedures.
• Ensure the organisation is compliant with Heath & Safety legislation and to reduce and prevent hazards, dangers, and accidents.
• Carrying out site inspections / audits with photographic evidence and documented report.
• Ensuring the health and safety of the workers but also of the workplace, environment, and general public.
• Co-ordinate staff training and toolbox talks.
• Promote a proactive Health & Safety approach/attitude among employees and site staff.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• NEBOSH or IOSH qualified.
• CSCS holder or equivalent.
• Direct experience of working on site or supporting project related Health & Safety.
