Job description

The Employer is: ROBINSON GOLDSMITHS. This person should have an eye for detail and interest in jewellery and art, be friendly, outgoing and approachable. Someone who enjoys working and helping others. Organised and reliable and able to manager time effectively. Good time keeping, good communication and keen to learn new skill sin the work place. Learning from the ground up. They are responsible for greeting members of the public in a retail environment and able to provide good welcoming customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments and helping maintain the stores appearance and organisation. Able to help keep workshop clean and tidy, from kitchen duties (such as cleaning and providing tea and coffee for clients). .

Responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting members of the public and welcoming them in store.
  • Serving customers, answering telephone calls.
  • Stacking shelves, answering customer queries, advising customers, making sure shop is clean and tidy.
  • Helping to keep workshop clean and tidy.
  • Expected to dress smart casual and maintain a healthy can-do attitude.
  • Helping customers find products in store learning and working from the ground up.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Customer service skills.
  • To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • To learn about jewellery and gemstones and designers and use this information to advise customers.
  • Sensitivity and understanding.
  • To be vigilant, thorough and pay attention to detail.
  • Visual merchandising, jewellery and cabinet cleaning.

The Employer is: ROBINSON GOLDSMITHS. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position.
