Job description

We have an entry position available for a Trainee Crew Member with progression to Assistant Supervisor by month six. The right person will want to absorb themselves into the business and learn through our extensive training program how a business operates efficiently. They will learn all things coffee and afforded learning experience with our partner roaster. Develop in-depth knowledge on how the customer experience is delivered by using extensive processes. .

Responsibilities

• Customer service.
• Operate cash/card drawer with accurate money management.
• Consistency coffee making.
• Learn standard business processes and understand why we do what we do.
• Food preparation.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Ad hoc admin duties.
• Supplier ordering.
• Locking up duties.
• Develop sales initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Interested in career opportunities within a growing company.

Desirable Skills

• Food Hygiene certificate (preferred but not essential as training will be provided).
• 1 year experience in hospitality/barista/customer service preferred.

Further Information

The Employer is: CARGO DRIVE INS LTD Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Salary: 16/17 £6.40, 18/20yrs £8.60, 21yrs or over £11.44 per hour
