Haematology/Oncology Pharmacist


Job description

The person appointed will join a team providing pharmacy services to Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. The person appointed will be responsible for contributing to the provision of pharmacy services to Haematology/Oncology. The person appointed will ensure the safe, effective and economic use of pharmaceuticals at patient level and that services are provided in accordance with the relevant legislation and current standards..

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for providing and developing chemotherapy preparation services in accordance with relevant legislation and current standards.
  • Contributing to the provision of pharmacy services to Haematology/Oncology.
  • Ensure the safe, effective and economic use of pharmaceuticals at patient level and that services are provided in accordance with the relevant legislation and current standards.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • M.Pharm. or equivalent.
  • Be a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland or eligible for membership.
