The Employer is: EXCALIBUR PRESS. We are looking for an individual who wants to join our journalism and content creation team. This person will be working on our internal brands such as BAM Magazine, Business News NI, Causeway & Antrim News and Belfast 247 Radio as well as supporting our team on content creation for clients..

Responsibilities

• This person will be responsible for the daily upkeep of our online magazine and radio station news.
• This person will not only plan, write and research their content but they will also upload it to the website, source photos, schedule for digital release and distribute on social channels.
• This person will also support our publicity assistant and senior content creator in their roles providing services to our clients.
• Journalism & Reporting - Source, research and write a range of interviews, features and news stories that would be used for mainstream media.
• Research - Effectively research any given topic and use that research to deliver accurate reporting as well as trend research for content creation.
• Content Creation - Create written, photo, graphic & video content for social media.
• Digital Content Marketing & Distribution - Successfully create a content marketing strategy.
• Digital Marketing - You will be confident in the execution of a range of digital marketing skills.
• Please be aware that whilst experience is a bonus it is not required where replaced with passion and a willingness to learn.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to and be comfortable using telephone.
• Ability to and be comfortable interviewing people.
• A qualification (or relevant demonstrable experience) within the media industry.
• Multi-media production.
• Photography / video skills.
• Knowledge of Wordpress.
• Knowledge of Content Creation tools.

Further Information

The Employer is: EXCALIBUR PRESS. Salary: 16/17 £5.28, 18/20 £7.49, 21/22 £10.18, 23/24 £10.42 per hour. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Wage: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour.
