Job description

The Employer is: BODEGA BAGELS. Will work closely with our head chef and learn all aspects of food preparation, as well as cooking and filling bagels to order. In time there will be scope to come up with specials and menu ideas, as well as supporting our team at future supper clubs. .

Responsibilities

• Opening up tasks including prepping raw ingredients for each days service.
• Cooking food to order.
• Maintaining stock and placing orders with managements.
• Coming up with menu ideas and suggestions for future specials.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good communications skills.
• Interest in cooking and food.
• Time management skills are essential.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working in a food/hospitality industry.
• Driving licence is not essential but beneficial.

Further Information

The Employer is: BODEGA BAGELS. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Successful applicant will be given formal food hygiene and preparation certificates.
