Job description

The postholder will assist in the preparation and production of financial information and statements and the development of financial control systems to meet the requirements of the Strategic Planning and Performance Group (SPPG), Public Health Agency (PHA) and its external stakeholders. The postholder will assist in the preparation and production of regular and ad hoc financial information in line with required timescales. The postholder will assist in the development of financial information to promote good financial management within the SPPG, PHA and external stakeholders. .

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day to day functions within the Finance Directorate.
• Assist with co-ordinating, planning and managing Finance Directorate processes and tasks to meet regular and ad hoc reporting requirements and timetables.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A university degree or relevant professional qualification and 1 years recent finance experience, OR 3 years recent finance experience (Recent finance experience is defined as having worked in a financial role within a Finance Department.)
