The Employer is: MONDAYS CHILD. We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team at our new sustainable, unique, woman owned jewellery store. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, offering styling advice, and ensuring that our store is well-maintained. .

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding the perfect piece of jewellery to meet their needs and preferences.
• Provide styling advice to customers, helping them choose accessories that complement their personal style.
• Maintain a clean and organised store environment.
• Process payments and sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, including the materials used, craftsmanship, and design details.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience from start to finish.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organising shipments and conducting stock checks.
• Assist with Ecommerce. Picking & packing of customer orders.
• Provide assistance with Social Media Marketing.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• A passion for jewellery and a good knowledge of current trends.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interest in social media and current trends.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Access to/own car for transport.

Further Information

The Employer is: MONDAYS CHILD. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in jewellery. Candidates will also receive training to assist customers with our specialised jewellery making bookings & participate in social media marketing.
