Job description

We are seeking a Trainee Travel Agent to join a successful travel company. They will be generating revenue through promoting our holidays to existing clients and to help secure new clients..

Responsibilities

• Build long term relationships with customers.
• Provide information to clients for cruise ships, destinations and itineraries.
• Sell luxury cruises and holidays.
• Make recommendations e.g. promotions, itineraries and auxiliary products including suite upgrades, excursions and special requests.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Passion for holidays and travel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including telephone etiquette.
• Excellent spoken English (additional languages is a bonus).

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms including Facebook and LinkedIn.

Further Information

The Employer is: ELAN TRAVEL. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
