Customer Support Operative


Job description

Customer Support Operative opportunity is based in a company dealing in wholesale and retail trade of power tools and hardware. The successful candidate will answer customer enquiries and resolve customer issues in an efficient and timely manner. This may include providing information about products and services, addressing complaints and troubleshooting technical issues. .

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers, answer queries and resolve problems.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and promote our brand.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints with understanding and diplomacy.
  • Provide product and service recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Understand and convey technical product information to customers.
  • Utilise the internal customer management software to track all order processes.
  • Preparing for and assisting with tradeshows as necessitated by the needs for the company.
  • Assist colleagues when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work of own initiative.
  • Confident in answering and making phone calls.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and social media.
  • Flexible and positive approach. Able to prioritise and complete tasks within a tight deadline and ability to work under pressure.

Desirable Skills

  • Have previous experience in a customer support role.

The Employer is: TOOL MONSTER LTD Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
