Human Resources Administrator


Job description

The HR Administrator will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective HR administration service to all employees and work in close collaboration with the HR Manager in providing a people-focused HR service. .

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Organising and maintaining personnel records on HR software.
  • Overseeing security clearances and ensuring all are completed and up to date.
  • Organising training and development opportunities and ensuring all records are kept up to date.
  • Assisting in the absence management process.
  • Preparing various HR reports e.g. absence, turnover, recruitment and training.
  • Providing administration support in employee relation matters as required.
  • Other duties may be required from time to time depending on the needs of the business.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company and personal information.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office software.
  • Must possess strong organisational skills.
  • Display excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate good attention to detail.
  • Be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Able to adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate good team ethos.
  • Previous HR administration experience.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Flexible in a changing environment.
  • Construction industry experience.

Further Information

The Employer is: IRWIN M&E LTD. Although this is a full time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position.
