Job description

Capable of producing a garment from cut pieces to the finished product ensuring a high quality standard..

Responsibilities

• Ability to work on a busy production line
• Ability to follow instructions for makeup of garments
• All orders must be completed to the required quality standard, specifications and performance targets within department.
• Maintain an Efficient and organised work environment in line with 5s Procedures within department
• Participate in all job training and coaching
• Achievement of operational KPIs/Targets.
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations at all times
• Ensure good working relations with colleagues
• Ensure that absenteeism and tardiness are kept to a minimum
• Ensure that company polices are adhered to always, this includes Equal Opportunities Policy, Harassment Policy, Health and Safety Policy and Training Policy
• Any other reasonable duties requested

Essential Skills

• Time management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to listen closely and assimilate information quickly. Able to ask clarifying questions and provide accurate information.
• Flexible and committed to meeting deadlines

Desirable Skills

• Experience working on a production line
• Experience working different types of machines such as Overlock/Flat Stitch/Cover stitch etc
