Job description

We are seeking a bright and proactive CAD Technician to work alongside our existing design team. .

Responsibilities

• Translating initial sketches into 2-dimensional CAD drawings.
• Creating accurate and detailed drawings for new projects.
• Producing manufacturing drawings and specifications.
• Managing the documents for each project, implementing document control and drawing revision procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Strong IT skills, ideally experienced in CAD 2D and 3D systems such as Tekla, Fusion360, AutoCAD Inventor or experience in SolidWorks and able to adapt.
• Able to create detailed and accurate technical product drawings in a timely manner.
• Confident reading and understanding basic drawings.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility - able to manage and prioritise a changing to-do list.
• Effective communication skills, able to build and maintain good working relationships.
• A keen eye for design as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy of your work is imperative.
