To assist in the effective and efficient functioning of the Self Directed Support Payments Section of the Financial Support Services Department, including staff management and supervision..

Responsibilities

• Management of Direct Payments finance process, including monitoring of compliance to terms of Direct Payment Agreement and calculation of monthly payment amount and annual uplift.
• Responsibility for issuing all necessary communication to Direct Payments service users imcluding requests for information, surplus balance letters, overpayment letters and Dunning letters.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Demonstrate 3 years relevant finance experience. OR Certificate for Accounting Technicians (ATI) or equivalent (QCF Level 4) with 1 years relevant finance experience.
