Job description

The Post-holder will provide a specialist Psychology service to adults referred to the Learning Disability Service. The post-holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment, consultation, liaison, and teaching and training..

Responsibilities

• To provide a specialist psychological assessment and treatment service for adults referred to the Clinical Psychology Learning Disability Service
• To provide a specialist Clinical Psychology service as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Post graduate degree accepted by the British Psychological Society as qualifying the person to work as a chartered psychologist.
• Must be HCPC registered or demonstrate eligibility for HCPC registration.
