To work as part of a team responsible for ensuring production targets are met on time, accurately and to the highest standard..

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of lorries.
• Ensure packs/boxes have correct quantities as per invoice.
• Batching, counting/marking armour.
• Pack armour into overt/covert covers.
• Making, packing, checking quantities, sealing armour boxes for dispatch.
• To pallet boxes for dispatch.
• Ensure packs/boxes are sealed properly.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workplace.
• Be aware of ISO 9001, ISO 18001 and ISO 14001 Standard Operating Procedures.
• Identify opportunities for improving the method of operation in your area of responsibility.
• Undertaking any/all tasks assigned by manager to ensure targets are met.
• Providing cover for colleagues as and when required.
• Implement improvements which have been agreed with your manager.
• Observe all company rules, Standard Operating Procedures and company policies particularly in relation to health and safety, harassment, disciplinary and ICT security.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven ability in numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to communicate with a variety of people at all levels within the organisation.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Able to carry out manual tasks such as loading/unloading.

Desirable Skills

• Minimum of 6 months working in the same of similar environment.
• Willing if required, to undertake a CRB check.

Further Information

The Employer is: CONEEN PROTECTION. Salary: Under 18 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 & over £11.44 per hour. Although this is a full time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
