Job description

Searching for Hazardous Material Operatives throughout the North and South of Ireland in accordance with environmental regulations. Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm, with out of hours work (nights and weekends)..

Responsibilities

• Safely store and take care of any PPE / RPE provided ensuring it is inspected and maintained as required.
• Ensure the appropriate equipment is in place.
• Set up Decontamination Unit.
• Remove contaminated material and securely seal and prepare contaminated material for disposal.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned maintained and stored correctly.
• Carry out cleaning duties.
• Follow and comply with the decontamination process.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• CSR/CSCS card.
• Driving licence preferable.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Good communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• A flexible approach to work.
• Previous experience in asbestos removal is preferable but not essential.
