Job description

To be part of the management in a small team, in the day to day running of an After School Club. This position is over 4 days and we can are flexible with the days. This is a great opportunity to gain management experience within a new childcare facility, based inside a primary school. This position is a hands on role, where more emphasis is put on spending time with the children..

Responsibilities

• You will assist in planning and organising day to day activities and maintain a fun environment for the kids in the after school club.
• To follow the roles and responsibilities of Management in their absence to run the unit efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure the safety and well being of children at all times.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• It is essential the the candidate has completed or currently studying level 5 in Childcare Management Care, Learning and Development (CCLD), BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, Education or equivalent.
• If you have a level 3 in Childcare and are interested in this position, it is required that you are willing to sign up to complete your level 5. We can assist in helping you do this.
