Revive North Coast is an outdoor activity provider committed to delivering high-quality outdoor adventure experiences. We specialise in providing thrilling activities (paddle boarding, coasteering, rock climbing etc.) aimed at fostering a love for the outdoors and adventure among our clients. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Social Media and Administrative Assistant. This position will involve a diverse range of tasks including administrative duties, social media management, content creation and client communications. In addition to the outlined responsibilities, there is an exciting opportunity for the selected candidate to actively participate in assisting with the running of some outdoor activities should they express interest. This involvement will not only provide first-hand experience in outdoor pursuits but also offer valuable content creation opportunities for our social media platforms. While participation in activities is not mandatory, it presents an added benefit for individuals passionate about outdoor adventures..

Responsibilities

  • Assist with office administration tasks including answering calls, handling enquiries and managing bookings.
  • Liaise with activity instructors to book instructors for specific dates and coordinate schedules and communicate important information.
  • Create engaging content for our social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram.
  • Regularly post content on social media platforms to increase engagement and reach.
  • Respond to messages and comments on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage email communications with clients, handling inquiries and providing necessary information.
  • Utilise advertising and email campaigns to attract new clients and promote our services.
  • Take charge of creating and distributing newsletters to our subscriber base.
  • Assist in promoting special deals, discounts and packages to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • GCSE's.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
  • A desire to learn and work well as a team.
  • Basic knowledge of office software (e.g. Microsoft Office).
  • Creativity and a passion for outdoor adventure activities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in office administration or social media management is an advantage but not essential.

Desirable Skills

  • Qualifications or experience in social media, marketing or administration.
  • Experience in outdoor activities.
