Job description

To be an active member of a team of scientific and technical staff providing comprehensive non-ionising radiation, imaging and safety services to HSC and other organisations in N. Ireland. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification..

Responsibilities

• Undertake testing and calibration of equipment used in the Non-Ionising Radiation Group
• Undertake ultraviolet & optical spectroradiometry measurements within the Medical Physics Non-Ionising laboratory

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A degree in a relevant subject e.g. Physics, Radiography or other appropriate subject Or A diploma of the Royal College of Radiographers Or A diploma or HND in a relevant science discipline and 1 year's relevant experience

Desirable Skills

• Membership of a relevant professional register e.g. Register of clinical technologists Academy of Healthcare Science register of healthcare science practitioners
