Job description

This an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the Health and Social Care Services to support Children and Young People (CYP) with or expected Special Educational Needs (SEN) to develop service improvement and integrated working arrangements..

Responsibilities

  • Support senior HSC Trust management staff in developing and implementing service improvement projects and initiatives in line with regional developments, to time and in a cost-effective way.
  • The post-holder will work with the already established SEN team and report to the relevant CYP Lead across the full range of issues relevant to the work of the HSC Trust in supporting CYP with SEN.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • A minimum 3 years post registration experience which includes evidence Of supporting CYP with SEN and evidence of joint working between the health and education sectors.

Desirable Skills

  • Demonstrable knowledge of health and social structures, processes and procedures.
