Job description
Permanent Part Time Administration Post -16 hours / 2 days per week To work Fridays & one other day in the week..
Responsibilities
- Dealing with customers in a professional manner at the trade-counter, over the phone and via email.
- Answering telephone operating a small switchboard & dealing with walk in enquiries.
- Using an extensive catalogue with part numbers.
- Bookkeeping, invoicing and general admin duties. Sending quotations to clients. Ordering products.
- Sales generating new customers.
- Dealing with customers, trade counter sales & picking items required. Preparing orders for daily dispatch with courier.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Minimum C in 5 GCSE's to include Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Excellent organisational and computer skills.
- Good attention to detail and an ability to communicate effectively.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in Sage 50. Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc) essential.
- Experience in a customer facing / Accounts role.
