Job description
The Employer is: CREGGAN NEIGHBOURHOOD PARTNERSHIP. Answering calls for programmes within the centre. Greeting people and assuring their needs are met. Filing away relevant paperwork throughout the day. Keeping area clean and tidy. Recording of information. .
Responsibilities
- The Receptionist will act as first point of contact within the organisation.
- To ensure all visitors and clients are received in a welcoming, professional and sensitive manner.
- Work as part of the team.
- All correspondence comes through reception - handling incoming calls and face to face enquiries within the centre and dealing with them in a timely manner.
- Directing visitors to appropriate member of staff/ room/ service.
- Responding to queries and liaising with residents to meet their needs.
- Recording documentation, scanning & photocopying and filing of paperwork.
- Maintaining relevant databases, keeping accurate records and overseeing petty cash for centre.
- Booking system of activities and programmes & registering participants.
- Assist with the use and development of the centres social media channels and marketing and respond to any social media communication as appropriate.
- Other duties as required to support existing staff.
- Reporting to CNP manager.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- English & Maths GCSE - grade C (or equivalent).
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Able to be flexible.
- Able to communicate effectively verbally.
- An understanding, acceptance & adherence to the need for strict confidentially.
- Work in professional and efficient manner.
- Able to prioritise.
- Proficient Use of Microsoft /ICT/email systems.
Desirable Skills
- IT Experience.
- Social media experience.
Further Information
The Employer is: CREGGAN NEIGHBOURHOOD PARTNERSHIP. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position.
