Beauty by Lisa has an opportunity for a motivated Beauty Therapist to join our team to provide a full range of beauty treatments for our valued clientele..

Responsibilities

• Advanced treatments: Provide advanced skin care treatments including facials.
• Hair removal waxing.
• Nail services: Perform manicures and pedicures including the application of gel and acrylic nails. They might also offer nail art and advanced hand and foot treatments.
• Makeup application: Apply day, evening, bridal and special occasion makeup. They may also offer makeup consultations and lessons.
• Customer consultations: Conduct in-depth client consultations to assess their needs and expectations, provide professional advice and recommend suitable treatments and products.
• Sales and promotion: Promote and sell beauty products and additional treatments, which can involve explaining the benefits and features of products or services offered by the salon.
• Salon maintenance: Ensure that treatment rooms and equipment are clean and well maintained, adhering to health and safety standards specific to the beauty industry.
• Appointment management: Schedule client appointments and manage follow-up bookings.
• Client care: Follow up with clients after treatments to ensure satisfaction and manage any feedback or complaints.
• Continuous professional development: Keep up to date with the latest beauty trends and treatments, potentially attending courses and seminars to enhance professional skills.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A diploma in Beauty Therapy with a minimum of 3 years industry experience. This experience is essential to work under pressure and provide quality treatments within the time provided. We strive on offering an extremely punctual service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well within our team and build relationships.
• Passion and drive in helping clients achieve their goals.
• A commitment to learning and developing new skills in the industry.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Further Information

The Employer is: BBL - BEAUTY BY LISA. Salary: Under 18 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 & over £11.44 per hour. Although this is a full time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Post holder must work 2 late nights to 9pm and every Saturday 8am-2pm. All other hours are flexible up to 40 hours per week.
