ReStore Retail Trainee
Job description
The Employer is: HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IRELAND. Provide excellent customer service, handling customer queries. Sort donated goods including the pricing and barcoding of stock. Ensure a high standard of presentation, display and merchandising of stock. Support the Donations Collection Team with the collection of donations in the Habitat van. Be responsible for operating the electronic Till system, including the booking of donation collections and processing payments. Working with the Store Manager and Supervisor/s to market and promote items through social media platforms. Assist with keeping the store clean and tidy and that health & safety regulations are adhered to. Attend appropriate training as required. Develop joinery and PAT testing skills, as need dictates.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Previous retail experience is not essential. We will provide all the necessary support and training for the role.
- Potential candidates should have a positive and flexible approach, good interpersonal skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team (including with volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities).
Further Information
The Employer is: HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IRELAND. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
