Join Exact Comms Ltd as a Quality Assurance Specialist and play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and excellence of our software platform. Duties: Feature Testing: Collaborate with the development team to conduct comprehensive testing of newly developed features, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and user-friendliness. Regression Testing: Execute thorough regression testing on existing software to identify and address any potential issues arising from new feature implementations or updates. Performance Testing: Evaluate the performance and responsiveness of the software under various conditions, identifying areas for improvement to enhance the overall user experience. Defect Documentation: Accurately document and communicate any defects or issues discovered during testing, providing clear and detailed reports to the development team for prompt resolution. Test Automation: Contribute to the development and implementation of automated testing processes to streamline testing procedures and enhance overall efficiency. Collaborative Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and cohesive approach to software quality assurance .

Responsibilities

  • Testing Methodologies: The young person will develop a strong understanding of various testing methodologies, honing their skills in feature testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
  • Test Automation: Depending on the level of automation involved, the young person may develop skills in test automation, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

Further Information

The Employer is: EXACT COMMS LTD. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer Wage: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour.
