Duties: Feature Testing: Collaborate with the development team to conduct comprehensive testing of newly developed features, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and user-friendliness. Regression Testing: Execute thorough regression testing on existing software to identify and address any potential issues arising from new feature implementations or updates. Performance Testing: Evaluate the performance and responsiveness of the software under various conditions, identifying areas for improvement to enhance the overall user experience. Defect Documentation: Accurately document and communicate any defects or issues discovered during testing, providing clear and detailed reports to the development team for prompt resolution. Test Automation: Contribute to the development and implementation of automated testing processes to streamline testing procedures and enhance overall efficiency. Collaborative Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and cohesive approach to software quality assurance .
Responsibilities
- Testing Methodologies: The young person will develop a strong understanding of various testing methodologies, honing their skills in feature testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
- Test Automation: Depending on the level of automation involved, the young person may develop skills in test automation, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

The Employer is: EXACT COMMS LTD. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer Wage: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour.
