Sales Negotiator


Job description

Negotiating offers and agreeing Sales/Rentals .

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with sales progression from instruction through to completion.
  • Generate new business including viewings, new instructions, and mortgage leads.
  • Promote the business through social media.
  • Liaise with prospective clients in order to handle their instruction/sale and agree professional terms.
  • Dealing with potential buyers, tenants, identifying their needs and arranging property viewings.
  • Arranging and accompanying viewings, including updating systems and providing feedback to vendors, buyers and landlords.
  • Provide market appraisals of properties for sale and rent. This will include performing comparative market analysis to determine pricing.
  • Prepare properties for sale including measurements, descriptions, photographs, floor plans and videos. This will include preparing Property Brochures and listings on property portals and social media.
  • Represent the sellers in negotiation with prospective buyers including negotiations and liaising with all relevant parties.
  • Monitor Sales as they proceed and liaise with all interested parties including Mortgage brokers, Solicitors, Surveyors, Purchasers, Vendors and in some cases other Estate Agents. This will include dealing with queries/issues that may arise and findin
  • Determine clients needs and financial abilities in order to propose solutions that suit them.
  • Arrange advertising to promote properties and the business - this will include maintaining and developing the businesses social media presence.
  • Administrative duties including keeping database up to date to include properties For Sale, Rent, Sale Agreed, Rent Agreed, Viewings etc.
  • Maintain an outgoing and friendly disposition to all customers both in person and by telephone.
  • Representing the company in a professional and honest way.
  • Keep up to date with trends in the property market, whilst maintaining a good knowledge of estate agency including best practices.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to achieve office goals.
  • Any other duties as may be required by Management or the Partners.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • GCSE English and Maths A(Star) to C.
  • Have a competent level of computer literacy and be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel.
  • Be competent in the use of social media for the development of the business.
  • Be a strong and competent communicator and demonstrate excellent oral and communication skills.
  • Possess an ability to use own initiative combined with a strong resilience to external disruption.
  • Possess good organisational skills and be able to follow through on disciplined tasks.
  • Be able to recognise opportunities and generate new business.
  • Possess a full UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle.
  • One to two years experience working in a customer services space, office environment or property related sector.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience of working hands-on in a property related job would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
