Job description

The Employer is: GAS AND CONTROLS LIMITED. In this role you will install, repair and maintain gas detection and monitoring equipment. Work as a team member or use own initiative to complete projects. Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes. Make decisions based on technical documents. Perform electrical testing and inspections. Carry out preventative maintenance checks on detection equipment. Problem solve issues and take appropriate remedial action. Communicate effectively with the customer..

Responsibilities

• Keep service manager informed of job progress and any issues.
• Complete all documentation completely and accurately.
• Understand company HS&E policies.
• Identify potential hazards and take appropriate action to eliminate.
• Ensure all areas are clean and tidy.
• Keep company van clean and tidy.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Computer literate.

Further Information

The Employer is: GAS AND CONTROLS LIMITED. Although this is a full time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Wage: 16-17 £6.40, 18-20 £8.60, 21 plus £11.44 per hour
