Trailblazer BBQ have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Production Operative to join our close-knit team. Located in Dundonald, Trailblazer BBQ design, manufacture and export an industry-leading range of BBQ Grills. Training will be provided across varied production processes that will encourage further development of transferable skills such as operating a CNC press brake, using a bandsaw, guillotine, spot welding etc. This opportunity is perfectly suited for someone who enjoys working with their hands, enjoys job task variety and gets excited at the thought of turning raw materials into a finished product that is sold worldwide. Responsibilities

  • BBQ assembly.
  • Cutting and drilling of sheet metal and box section steel.
  • Using various hand and air tools in an assembly environment.
  • Interpreting technical documents such as CAD drawings and written instructions.
  • Light engineering/parts manufacturing.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Adhering to deadlines.
  • Working both individually and as part of a team.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Great attention to detail with a can-do attitude and the ability to work efficiently.
  • The ability to work on their own accord and as part of a team.
  • Organised and punctual.
  • Enjoys a hands-on role and is eager to learn new skills.

Further Information

The Employer is: TRAILBLAZER BBQ Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Wage: 16/17 £6.40, 18/20yrs £8.60, 21yrs or over £11.44
