E-Commerce Assistant


Job description

Due to an increase in workload a new role has been created for a detailed orientated customer focused Assistant to work on Amazon services online for this successful E commerce company This role would suit someone who has previous experience working in a small office environment, ideally minimum 3 years, and be prepared to get involved in whatever tasks are required. You must be solution focused with a passion for customer service. Your key role will be perform general administrative duties and provide support to the company as required. The role will also entail dealing with customer enquiries in an effective, and efficient manner. NB Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered..

Responsibilities

  • Provide first point of contact with customers in relation to sales, delivery of stock and support with enquires, information and action enquires accordingly
  • Maintain contact and regular briefing updates with customers on progress status of orders.
  • Able to update stock on Amazon and analyse customer details.
  • Monitor listings and products online
  • Maintain clerical procedures to assist with decision making
  • Provide support services and assist as required in the delivery of initiatives and events
  • Provide admin support to management
  • Demonstrate excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently and maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Actively seek solutions through logical reasoning and data interpretation skills
  • Assist the E-commerce team by downloading various reports for analysis; there are various software tools they utilise however, full training will be given on the use of these
  • Help the E-commerce team with listings across various online platforms
  • Help with keyword research
  • Competitor analysis - reviewing online competitors and providing reports on same
  • Customer care - follow up inbound customer requests / enquiries
  • Fulfilment of online orders as required

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Good telephone manner and able to resolve customer queries
  • Experience using Microsoft word and excel essential
  • Must be analytical and good at problem solving.
  • Technical (Computers & Internet) savvy is required.
  • The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, reliable and able to work on own initiative
  • 3 years plus administration experience essential within an office/customer environment or ecommerce company
  • Key skills would be someone who is organised, detail focussed, computer literate and proficient in Excel
  • Must be able to see a task to completion

Desirable Skills

  • Must be familiar with selling on Amazon
