SPPG_Business Support - NIPDP, Band 6
Job description
The main purpose of the job is to provide business support within the HSC Data Institute (HSCDI) for delivery of the Northern Ireland Public Data Panel (NIPDP). The NIPDP is a key partnership initiative with the Administrative Data Research Centre Northern Ireland (ADRC NI) via Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University. The post holder will have an integral role in working with the HSCDI, in ensuring the effective planning, commissioning and delivery of the NIPDP in line with the investment. The Business Support Officer will have the lead role in the co-ordination and oversight of all business processes of the NIPDP working closely and iteratively with the HSCDI and Co-Directors of NIPDP as well as interfacing with other senior colleagues, within and outside the organisation, as required to deliver the programme for this regional resource. .
Responsibilities
- Effective and timely records management on behalf of the NIPDP Co-Directors and HSCNI.
- Coordinate all NIPDP panel meetings, Data Dialogues and any other meetings or events related to NIPDP as assigned.
- The post holder will work closely with Northern Ireland Trusts Research Environment (NITRE) Programme Lead, the NITRE Board, ADRC NI, Public Health Agency Departmental colleagues and other key partners in the course of their duties.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Access and Excel to allow for the analysis of data.
- Effective organisational skills to meet the needs of the post in full.
Desirable Skills
- Experience of interpretation of information flows and needs assessment processes and their use in developing proposals and initiatives.
