Job description

The role consists of working within a team to learn how to provide the full range of activities required for preparation of fire resistance tests and post test activities. .

Responsibilities

• Learning the basic constructional elements of large-scale furnace test frames, installation and set-up of instrumentation such as thermocouples and transducers.
• Clean up and reinstatement of furnace after fire tests.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Awareness of health and safety requirements.
• General proficiency in use of Microsoft Office standard software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills

• Willingness to be part of a team.
